The route operates four return flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from May 30.
Flights depart Phu Quoc at 3:45 p.m. (local time) and arrive at Singapore's Changi International Airport at 6:30 p.m. (local time). In the opposite direction, flights depart Singapore at 1:05 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Phu Quoc at 1:45 p.m. (local time) on the same day.
The new Singapore – Phu Quoc route brings Vietjet's total number of weekly flights between Vietnam and Singapore to 78, with the airline expecting to serve over half a million passengers annually.
Phu Quoc welcomed more than 2 million visitors in the first quarter of this year, including 474,468 foreign tourists, a 66.5% year-on-year increase.
The island eyes 1 million foreign visitors by the end of this year.
In 2024, Phu Quoc received over 5.9 million visitors overall, up 7.1% from the previous year, including 963,000 international arrivals.
It was voted the world's second most beautiful island after the Maldives by readers of Travel + Leisure last year.
