The former actress said she cried several times during the ceremony. She reminded her daughter to treat her husband’s family as her own, and her son-in-law to cherish his wife no matter what difficulties they may face.
Johnathan said he was happy that his daughter had promised to visit home three times a week even after getting married.
“I have seen several of my children off for marriage before, but I am still moved to see that Tien Nguyen has found a peaceful place to settle down,” he said.
The tycoon and his wife were photographed inside their private residence. The space for their daughter’s ceremony was decorated with fresh flowers and furniture made of bamboo, rattan and wood.

The ceremony was held at a villa close by the Saigon River and was attended only by close relatives from both sides.

The wedding reception will take place on Sunday evening with about 1,000 guests, including many business leaders and celebrities.
Tien Nguyen, 28, is the Vietnamese tycoon's eldest daughter. She is known for her passion for luxury fashion.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in aviation management from the U.K. and now manages a fashion company that distributes luxury brands. She is often seen attending major fashion weeks in Paris and London to mingle with international celebrities.
Born in the 1980s, Cohen works in the advertising industry. The couple have been together for years but kept their relationship private. Cohen is acquainted with many celebrities and has been seen attending events with beauty queen Dang Thu Thao, actress Tang Thanh Ha, Linh Rin and Bang Di.
