The Hmong Village resort in Quang Ba District, around 50 kilometers northeast of downtown Ha Giang, opened its doors in July last year and has quickly drawn attention thanks to its unique design.
Covering 20 hectares, the resort offers 25 bungalows, scattered from the hillside down to the valley and surrounded by green trees and peaceful natural scenery.

One of the biggest highlights of the resort is its bungalows designed in shape of rattan baskets, typically shouldered by Hmong women to transport rice and other things.

The bungalows consist of two floors, with a fully equipped bathroom below and sleeping quarters above. Each costs VND3 million ($130.12) a night.

Work on the project started in February last year with total investment of VND80 billion. All bungalows are built with traditional environmentally friendly materials.
The resort has a community guesthouse complex that can accommodate up to 40 people at a time and features traditional trinh tuong houses with yin-yang tiled roofs and a mixture of clay and mud, a distinctive Hmong feature.

Those who love camping can set up tents on the grass or experience trekking tours to discover Lung Khuy, one of the beautiful limestone caves of Ha Giang, about one kilometer from the resort.
