The Hmong Village resort in Quang Ba District, around 50 kilometers northeast of downtown Ha Giang, opened its doors in July last year and has quickly drawn attention thanks to its unique design. |
One of the biggest highlights of the resort is its bungalows designed in shape of rattan baskets, typically shouldered by Hmong women to transport rice and other things. |
The bungalows consist of two floors, with a fully equipped bathroom below and sleeping quarters above. Each costs VND3 million ($130.12) a night. |
Work on the project started in February last year with total investment of VND80 billion. All bungalows are built with traditional environmentally friendly materials. |
The resort has an infinity pool where tourists can enjoy breakfast or do morning exercise. |

Those who love camping can set up tents on the grass or experience trekking tours to discover Lung Khuy, one of the beautiful limestone caves of Ha Giang, about one kilometer from the resort. |
