The capital city's Suvarnabhumi International Airport recorded 16% year-on-year increase in passengers last year, adding 407,081 airline seats while Don Mueang Airport experienced a growth of over 39%, contributing an additional 255,547 seats.
These figures brought the total airline seat count in the Bangkok metropolitan area to 662,628.
