Busan Gimhae Airport and Jeju Airport have outpaced Singapore Changi in a list of world's best airports in terms of passenger satisfaction, as compiled by AirHelp, a global leader in flight compensation services.

Located on the western end of Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea, Busan Gimhae Airport ranked 25th with a score of 7.9 points out of 10 for on-time performance, 8.3 for both customer opinion and the quality of food and retail services.

Jeju International Airport on the tourist island of Jeju secured the 31st position, rated high for its quality of food and shops. This is the second largest airport in South Korea, just behind Incheon International Airport in Incheon.

The ranking evaluated passenger experience at 250 airports worldwide based on three criteria: on-time performance, customer opinion, and the quality of food and retail services.

Often voted the world's No.1 airport by international organizations, Changi Airport has been ranked 34th in the AirHelp list, but was still the only Southeast Asian airport to appear in top 100.
