Photos shared on X show flight attendants of Taiwan-based Eva Air break up a mid-air fight between two male passengers on May 7, 2024.
Three female flight attendants on a Taiwan-based Eva Air flight were praised on social media for their "quick response" and "professionalism" after breaking up a mid-air altercation between two men.

The scuffle between two men happened on a flight that departed from Taipei for San Franciso on May 7, TVBS News reported.

The fight came just a few hours into the journey as one of the passengers decided to switch seats because a person next to him was coughing relentlessly.

He moved to find an empty one and sat down, but minutes later, the seat's original occupant returned, resulting in a violent brawl.

A video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, showed three flight attendants quickly trying to calm the fighting passengers down. One of the trio placed her hands between the two men to prevent them from coming closer to each other.

The men were reportedly handed over to the police in San Francisco upon arrival.

After the video went viral on social media, netizens praised the flight attendants' professionalism and rapid intervention.

"The flight attendants showed bravery and professionalism," on user wrote.

"They look like heroes and they should be rewarded," another wrote.
