Le 'SofM' Quang Duy bagged three awards at League of Legends Pro League (LPL) All-Star 2020, including the prestigious Most Valuable Player (MVP) prize.

The 23-year-old scooped the MVP of the year, best foreign player and best jungler awards at a ceremony in Chengdu City, China's Sichuan Province last Friday.

With his outstanding 2020 performance, SofM surpassed heavyweights like South Korean Kanavi from JD Gaming, locals JackeyLoveyer and Knight from Top Esports and even his teammate Bin from Suning Gaming to pocket the most anticipated MVP prize.

LPL congratulated SofM in a statement, praising his exemplary jungling techniques.

He helped his team, considered league underdogs, to finish as runners-up at DAMWON Gaming at the 2020 World Championship final in Shanghai last October.

After a successful year, Duy decided to stay with Suning for another season.

Suning also triumphed over teams Victory Five and LGD Gaming to bring home the Most Improved Team award while its members raked in multiple accolades, including best coach, best rookie, most improved player and best top player.

However, the other most sought LPL award, best team, went to Top Esports.

This is not the first time SofM won an individual LPL title. He won the best rookie award in 2016 when he first joined the league wearing the Snake Esports jersey.

SofM, born in Hanoi, is considered one of the most talented LoL pro players in Vietnam. He became the first Vietnamese to reach Challenger Tier and top 10 Challengers on the South Korean server, considered the game's hardest and appeared as the GPL All-Star starting jungler at 2015 International Wildcard All-Star Melbourne.

SofM is short for ‘Style of Me’.

LoL is a multiplayer online battle arena video game launched in 2009. Players control a ‘champion’ with special abilities and battle a team of other players or AI-controlled champions in a pre-defined arena.

The goal is to destroy the other team's ‘nexus’, a structure located at the heart of a base protected by defensive structures.
