Huyen put the car up for sale on Tuesday evening. It was initially planned to be used as a gift for customers in Huyen's livestream session on Sept. 29.
"With the current complicated situation caused by the storm, my husband and I think that it's completely unreasonable to give away a car in a flashy livestream. We decided to put this car up for sale and all the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the national disaster recovery fund," she said.

The electric car, a Vinfast VF3, costs VND240 million ($9,781) for the rented battery version and VND322 million for the version with the purchased battery.
Before his wife put the car up for sale, on Tuesday morning, Hai transferred VND250 million to the account of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in flood-hit areas.
Hai is one of Vietnam's best midfielders. He first rose to stardom with a stellar performance at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship, where Vietnam finished as runners-up. He later became a key player for the national team. With them he won the 2019 SEA Games gold medal and 2018 AFF Cup. He also helped the squad advance to the final qualifiers of the World Cup for the first time in the country's history.
In March this year, Hai tied the knot with Huyen, his long-time girlfriend in Hanoi.
In addition to Hai and his wife, many players in the V. League have also joined hands in the typhoon relief. Center-backs Que Ngoc Hai, Duy Manh, striker Hoang Dinh Tung, midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc, goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong and Dang Van Lam, each donated tens of millions of dong.
The Vietnam national team and Vietnam Football Federation also donated a total of VND400 million before the friendly match with Thailand in Hanoi on Sept. 9.
