Vaughn, known for movie hits like "Kick-Ass" and "Kingsman", said: "Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him - he's a real-life superhero," according to the statement.
It added: "Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies; Matthew Vaughn loves sport - and they both love a good story."

The studio aims to blend cutting-edge technology with traditional filmmaking, with the goal of reshaping the industry, Marca reported.
The 50-50 partnership, called UR•MARV, has already yielded results, with two action films financed and produced and the third in the same series about to be started, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement from the independent film studio.
Besides his film ambitions, Ronaldo continues to expand his influence outside of football.
After investing in the Portuguese media conglomerate Medialivre and launching his YouTube channel UR Cristiano in 2024, he is actively working to solidify his brand in new entertainment sectors, ensuring his legacy extends beyond the football pitch.
