29-year-old model receives death threats, called 'pedophile' after being linked to Barca star Lamine Yamal

After the Nations League final in early June, Yamal went on vacation in Italy, where a photo of him on a jet ski with Vazquez went viral on social media. The incident sparked criticism, with many accusing Vazquez of being involved with Yamal for financial gain, and even suggesting that she might be damaging the career of one of the world's most talented young players.

"I'm getting really pissed off, people are even wishing me dead because of it," Vazquez told Spanish TV show "La familia de la tele".

"I'm receiving death threats and messages calling me a pedophile."

Vazquez vehemently denied accusations that she was with Yamal for money.

"I want to make it clear that I do not have and have never had a financial interest in this story. I've been an independent woman since I was 18," she told Spanish TV program "Y ahora Sonsoles".

"I have been working on social networks as a content creator for more than 10 years, long before Lamine was a public figure. My career is solid, professional and autonomous."

She further clarified that she was not the only woman Yamal had interacted with during their vacation. "When I arrived, there was a woman who had left a few hours earlier," she said.

Vazquez's rumored relationship with Yamal follows a similar controversy involving 29-year-old former adult film star Claudia Bavel, who claimed that Yamal made attempts to get with her, but she declined to meet him.

Yamal is not publicly dating anyone. He introduced his girlfriend Alex Padilla during the Euro 2024 championship celebrations, but they parted ways a month later. During a recent trip to Brazil, Yamal posted a photo with Neymar with a caption: "Single and happy."

Yamal's breakout season with Barcelona saw him bagging 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches, helping the club secure a domestic treble, La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Spanish Super Cup. He and his teammates are enjoying a summer break before returning to training in July.
