Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will aim for the IBF heavyweight belt currently held by Daniel Dubois in the match taking place at Wembley Stadium, England on Saturday.

The match between two British is the focus of the world boxing scene in the third quarter of this year.

Manchester Evening News reported that even though Dubois is holding the IBF belt, Joshua, with his bigger reputation and appeal, will still receive a higher fight purse, even though he is about to turn 35.

Joshua's fight purse will be £6 million (US$7.97 million). This figure for "Dynamite" Dubois is £3.5 million ($4.6 million). For the revenue from the live pay-per-view TV and ticket sales from the match, the split will be 60-40 in favor of Joshua.

It is predicted that Joshua will earn a total of around £25 million ($33.2 million) from the fight on Sept. 21. Meanwhile, whether Dubois wins or loses, he is likely to pocket up to £10 million. That will be the record amount of money Dubois has ever earned in his professional boxing career.

Previously, in the fight with world champion Oleksandr Usyk last August, Dubois only earned more than £1.6 million ($2.1 million). In his most recent fight with the IBF top-ranked boxer Filip Hrgovic, Dubois was only paid $500,000 even though he won the match and the title.

Joshua, the two-time world heavyweight champion, has amassed a huge fortune thanks to his business ventures and especially his professional boxing career.

In March this year, when he knocked out former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, Joshua pocketed a total of $50 million. At the moment Joshua is only behind Tyson Fury in the list of British boxers who earn the most money from fights.

If Joshua beats Dubois this weekend, he will almost certainly fight the winner of the Fury vs Usyk rematch, which will take place in November. The match, which is set to be held next year, will be a lucrative one and can bring Joshua hundreds of millions of dollars.
