Doha's Hamad International Airport has dethroned Singapore's Changi to claim the title of world's best airport this year, as voted by Skytrax, a British airline and airport review and ranking site.

The result was part of the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024, based on passenger satisfaction surveys between August 2023 and March 2024.

Passengers evaluated key airport services, such as check-in and transfer experiences, immigration clearance, shopping and departures.

This year marked the third time Hamad International Airport has been named as the world's best, after winning the title in 2021 and 2022.

With modern designs, the airport features amenities such as a luxury hotel with over 100 guest rooms, tropical gardens, and shopping malls.

Changi Airport, famous for the world's tallest indoor waterfall, was voted the world’s best airport 12 times by Skytrax from 2013 to 2020 and again in 2023.

This year, South Korea's Incheon International Airport rose to third place, followed Japan’s Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport.

Vietnam's Noi Bai and Da Nang were in the top 100.
