Aquaman Vietnam 2023 awards 26 prizes

Winners at Aquaman Vietnam 2023 received a total of 26 prizes, including cash and items worth nearly VND150 million ($6,100).

The Aquaman Vietnam award ceremony took place at NovaWorld Phan Thiet Economic Tourism Urban Area on Sunday, after more than 1,000 participants completed the tournament.

In the kids category designed for young athletes aged 6 to 10, rewards included cash prizes ranging from VND1 million to 2.5 million, and a set of cow and bear mascots from DNSE company.

Hoang Do Ha Quyen, a student of Lam Quang Nhat, the national triathlon champion, won in this category.

For other categories, prizes were divided into two categories for men and women (except for Aqua Relay). Each category had three prizes for first, second and third finishers.

In the Aquaman Solo distance (2 km swim and 21 km run) for participants of 18 years old and above, Vu Dinh Duan won the first prize among men and Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong among women. They each received VND8 million in cash and a pair of Saucony Kinvara 14 shoes.

Duan also won the Aquaman Vietnam championship in Tra Co, Mong Cai, Quang Ninh last year.

The second prizes of VND5 million and a pair of Saucony Kinvara 14 shoes were awarded to Kristof van Houdt and Hoang Thi Lanh.

Tran Ngoc Linh and Truong Quynh Giang claimed the third spot, earning VND3 million and a pair of Saucony Kinvara 14 shoes as prizes.

In the Aqua Relay (2 km swim and 21 km run), the winning team, led by athlete Nguyen Dang Khoa, received a reward of VND5 million and two pairs of Saucony Kinvara shoes.

The teams led by athletes Nguyen Ngoc Trien secured the second prize for VND4 million and 2 pairs of Saucony Kinvara shoes.

Luong Ngoc Duy's team won the third prize with VND3 million and 2 pairs of Saucony Kinvara shoes.

In the Half Aqua competition (1 km swim and 10 km run) for people aged 16 years old and above, the rewards were VND4 million for the first-place finisher, VND3 million for the second place, and VND2 million for the third place. They also received a pair of Saucony Kinvara shoes.

The top finishers were Hoang Van Hai (first male), Myca (first female),Ngo Minh Quick (second male), Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen (second female), Bui Ngoc Trung (third male), and Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen (third female).

The Sprint Aqua competition (a 500 m swim and a 5 km run) for athletes over 10 years old awarded VND1, 2, and 3 million to the top three athletes, along with a pair of Saucony Kinvara shoes.

The winners in this category were Tran Dinh Tau (first male), Pham Thi Thuy Vi (first female), Ho Duy Dong (second male), Grigoreva Nadezhda (second female), Ngo Manh Cuong (third male), and Ngo Gia Linh (third female).

The organizers also presented medals to the sponsors and partners of the tournament, including DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company (accompanying partner), Joint Stock Company Nova Real Estate Investment Group (Novaland - location partner), and Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company (apparel partner).

Aquaman Vietnam's second season featured a wide range of participants, including families and groups of friends. The tournament not only offered a platform for showcasing skills but also fostered connections among friends, families, and like-minded athletes.
