A 29-seat passenger bus kept swerving from end to end on a highway in Lang Son Province to evade a police car that tried to block its path.

On Sunday afternoon, while patrolling National Highway No.1 in a car, officers found the bus headed for Hanoi traveling at 75 kph in 50-kph zone.

They flagged down the vehicle, but the driver did not stop and instead tried to speed away.

They chased after the bus and kept ordering the driver to stop, but he began to swerve from side to side to block their car, not worrying about oncoming traffic.

When the police car passed the bus and tried to stop it, he continued to try and evade them, even hitting the back of the car several times during the maneuvers, denting it.

The bus does not have a camera to monitor its interior or a permit to transport passengers.

The police are completing procedures to arrest Giang.
