Driver tries to flee with police officer on truck's hood

Vu Ngoc Lam, 32, is being investigated for "resisting a law enforcement officer in performance of his/her duties," police of Thai Binh said Thursday.

At around 2:50 p.m. on October 28, Lam was driving the pickup truck in the wrong way when police officers asked him to stop and show necessary documents. He refused to heed the request and drove away. A police officer tried to stop him by jumping on top of the vehicle.

After driving for around 600 m with the officer on the hood, Lam was stopped by authorities and locals.
