During a general law class, the 26-year-old first-year fashion design student argued loudly with a classmate before slapping that student in the face.
When the lecturer tried to step in, she ordered her to get out of the class.
The school held a meeting Friday with both students, their parents and the teacher, and decided she would be dismissed.
Her parent did not protest the decision.
But the school has refused to provide any more information about the incident.
