A court in Singapore on Tuesday sentenced a South Korean tourist to four months in jail for poisoning a woman by spiking some medication used to treat erectile dysfunction into her bubble tea drink for "revenge."

Kim Donghun, 33, pleaded guilty to a charge of causing hurt by means of poison, according to The Straits Times, adding he "could not control his emotions."

According to the indictment, Kim had a passion for photography and took photos of people surfing at a sports facility.

On Nov. 28 last year, Kim took pictures of the victim and showed off the photos with her.

However, the woman was unhappy that he had taken her photos without permission, and walked away from him, leaving him angered.

The indictment revealed he went to the table where the woman had placed her belongings including a bubble tea drink. He then dissolved a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction in some water, before pouring the mixture into the bubble tea.

After the woman drank it, she felt giddy and found a white powder on the plastic cover.

She quickly complained to the police who detained Kim based on security camera footage.

He admitted to police that he had purchased erectile dysfunction drug online for his own consumption, Today Online reported.

According to the Health Sciences Authority, the drug Kim used can cause headaches and nausea, and is a scheduled poison.
