Fugitive arrested at HCMC airport on return from Thailand

Truong Thi Huong, 27, of Dak Nong Province in the Central Highlands, was taken in right after she landed.

On Aug. 3 she was escorted to her hometown from where she escaped in 2018 while awaiting sentencing and fled the country.

She had been found guilty of robbery and was in custody.

An official arrest warrant was issued for her on Aug. 2, 2018.
