Four workers were buried when a landslide hit a titanium mine in the south-central province of Binh Thuan Saturday evening.

The landslide from a dump site moved 500 meters to hit the titanium excavation site that had four men inside. Dozens of workers and excavators joined the search. One body was found Sunday morning.

The titanium mine is run by Tan Quang Cuong, a local company, over more than 515 hectares in Thuan Quy Commune, Ham Thuan Nam District.

The project got its permit from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in 2015. A year later, its operation was suspended for three months after it triggered muddy floods that damaged local houses and tourism facilities.
