A fire broke out in a two-story tube house in the northern province of Bac Giang, killing three people including an eight-year-old boy on Sunday morning.

The fire started at around 3:45 a.m. at the house on Hoang Hoa Tham Street. At this time, there were three people inside, two adults and a child.

People living nearby knocked on the door to notify them but there was no response.

Ngo Quoc Tien, a neighbor, said that when he saw the fire, he used a ladder to climb to the second floor and heard a child crying. However, due to the fire, he could not go inside to save the victim.
