Ju showcased her slim figure in an asymmetric burgundy silk dress as part of a recent cosmetics brand campaign, with a video of the look shared on her social media. The dress featured a strapless design with a long silk piece wrapped around the neck, forming a choker that accentuated her delicate collarbones. Its rich burgundy hue is one of the standout colors for the upcoming Fall/Winter season.
She paired the dress with a sleek bun, gold earrings, and light, natural makeup, completing the sophisticated look.
Her promotional video has captured millions of views and dominated the commercial value index in China, with related keywords trending on Weibo, according to Sina.
Linh explained that the dress was crafted with an internal corset to enhance its shape, accentuating the curves while maintaining softness. The dress took 12 days to complete, with Linh working alongside six artisans.
"Ju Jingyi’s team reached out to our Shanghai distributor to custom-make the dress," Linh said. "I’m thrilled that she’s pleased with the final design."
At 31, Ju began her entertainment career in 2013 as a member of the idol group SNH48. She has since gained fame for her roles in popular TV dramas and films, including "Novoland: The Castle in the Sky," "Legend of Yunxi," "The Legend of White Snake," "Xuan Yuan Sword: Han Cloud," and "Sword and Fairy 4."
