This is the second occasion Grande has chosen to wear one of Hung’s creations. The dress, part of Hung’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, features handcrafted orchid flower ornaments made from high-quality satin silk and took hundreds of hours to complete.

The design was first introduced at London Fashion Week in Sep. 2024. Following the show, Grande’s stylist Mimi Cuttrell reached out to Hung to commission a custom-sized version for the singer, according to the designer.

In addition to pink, the dress is also available in white and purple. Hung aims to promote environmental awareness and the protection of orchids against climate change threats through his designs.

Previously, Grande wore another of Hung’s dresses on NBC’s "Saturday Night Live" in March 2024 to promote her album "Eternal Sunshine" and the music video "We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)." According to Hung, Grande was fully satisfied with both outfits, requiring no alterations.

Grande, 32, began her career on Broadway before moving to television and releasing her debut album "Yours Truly" in 2013. She has since received numerous awards, including honors from the Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, and the AMA.

Hung, 37, gained prominence after finishing as runner-up in "Project Runway Vietnam 2015." He became the first Vietnamese designer to join the London Fashion Week.

His designs have been favored by international celebrities such as Filipino actress Heart Evangelista, British TV presenter Vick Hope, and Chinese actress-singer Huang Shengyi.
