In a video shared on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu, the woman gave a tour of the custom-built closet, which resembles a luxury boutique.
The dogs owner said the total cost of her pets' fashion collection has reached nearly 2 million yuan, according to 8days.
Among the items are Italian cashmere sweaters priced between 3,000 and 4,000 yuan, and tweed jackets costing up to 5,000 yuan.
When a friend pointed out that dogs could not tell the difference between ordinary wool and luxurious cashmere, the woman replied, "They can’t tell, but we can."
The wardrobe also includes more than 10 drawers filled with sparkling hair clips, decorative leashes, and miniature handbags. She explained that only two of her dogs use hair clips, adding, "The male dog doesn’t."
The video quickly drew attention online, with some social media users expressing disbelief at the extravagant spending.
"While I wait for the 11.11 sale to buy a down jacket for Chinese New Year, this dog already has a two-million-yuan wardrobe waiting for it," one commenter wrote.
Others supported the woman’s choices. "I don’t see anything wrong with this. Are you just jealous that your wardrobe isn’t as big as a dog’s?" another user said.
