PhilNews reported that Telemundo said on Monday Bosch left the set during the first commercial break and told producers she would not return. The network criticized the sudden departure, saying Bosch appeared uncomfortable and reacted negatively when questioned about the turbulence surrounding this year’s Miss Universe final.

Telemundo reportedly asked Bosch about a lawsuit filed in Thailand by former pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil against her and about broader controversies involving the Miss Universe Organization’s leadership. Bosch and the Miss Universe Organization have not issued responses to the network’s account.

Bosch, 25, was crowned on Nov. 21 in Thailand. Her victory has been met with skepticism from some viewers, and the contest has been dogged by allegations of internal disputes. French-Lebanese musician Omar Harfouch, a judge who withdrew before the final, has suggested Bosch’s win may have been influenced by her father’s alleged business ties to Miss Universe co-owner Raul Rocha.

Neither Rocha nor the organization has publicly addressed those claims.
