On Sept. 13, Fazura, 40, was reportedly seen at the Syariah Court in Petaling, Selangor, Malaysia, where she filed the divorce petition, according to The Star. The actress has yet to reveal the reasons behind her decision to seek a divorce.
According to mStar, Fattah, 34, expressed his shock upon learning about the divorce through social media, stating: "Honestly, I only learned about the divorce application filed against me through social media, especially after it went viral. I am extremely shocked and saddened by the news."
He firmly denied rumors of infidelity, saying: "Moreover, without any doubt, I still love Fazura and want to stress that there is no other woman in my life as has been speculated and spread on social media."
Fattah also urged the public to respect their privacy, asking: "I humbly ask for your well wishes and support so that all our affairs can be facilitated and resolved amicably and peacefully. I also hope that there will be no interference from other parties that could further complicate this situation."

According to Malay Mail, rumors of marital discord had been circulating for months, especially after fans noticed that the couple had stopped interacting on social media. Recently, Fazura posted cryptic messages, which added fuel to the speculation.
Additionally, a person believed to be a staff member of Fazura and her bodyguard posted on social media, accusing a woman of fabricating stories and being involved in the couple's marital issues, even claiming to possess video evidence of her alleged misconduct.
Despite public speculation about their relationship, both Fattah and Fazura had previously denied any significant issues.
Fattah Amin, whose real name is Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin, is a well-known Malaysian actor and singer. He was the only candidate from Malaysia to be listed in TC Candler’s 100 Most Handsome 2020 and won Best Actor for his role in "Miimaland" at the 2021 World Film Carnival in Singapore.
Fazura, born Nur Fazura binti Sharifuddin, is an actress, singer, and entrepreneur, recognized for her roles in film and television, her platinum-certified music album, and her beauty, skincare, and fashion brand, Fazbulous. In 2021, she was listed in Tatler Asia’s Most Influential.
The couple, who got married on Nov. 27, 2017, have a three-year-old daughter. They recently starred together in the movie "Pendekar Awang: Darah Indera Gajah" (2024), a spin-off of the popular action-adventure film "Mat Kilau" (2022).
