Ex-girlfriend Grimes pressures Elon Musk to address child’s urgent health issue

"Plz (please) respond about our child’s medical crisis," Grimes, 36, wrote in a now-deleted post on X Thursday.

"I am sorry to do this publicly, but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation.

"This requires immediate attention. If you don’t want to talk to me, can you please designate or hire someone who can, so we can move forward on solving this? This is urgent, Elon."

She did not specify which of their three children was affected, according to the New York Post. When a commenter suggested that going public might not help, Grimes underscored the severity of the situation, stating that their child could face "lifelong impairment" if Musk did not respond.

"I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts, calls or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he doesn’t respond asap," she wrote, adding that she had no choice but to apply "public pressure."

Shortly after, she deleted her posts, explaining: "I am deleting them now because if they’re being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids."

Last week, Grimes also expressed concern after Musk brought their son, X Æ A-Xii, to a meeting with the U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. The toddler was photographed sitting on Musk’s shoulders as Trump signed an executive order, Page Six reported.

Reacting to the images, Grimes criticized the exposure of their son, writing: "He should not be in public like this." She later thanked fans for notifying her, saying, "I did not see this, thank you for letting me know."

Both Page Six and New York Post reached out to Musk and Grimes for comment but received no response.

Grimes, born Claire Elise Boucher, is a Canadian musician and record producer. She and Musk began dating in 2018 in what she described as a "very fluid" relationship. They share three children: son X Æ A-Xii, 4, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and son Techno Mechanicus, 2.

The pair had an on-again, off-again relationship before permanently splitting in 2022. In October 2023, they filed lawsuits against each other over parental rights, with the case still ongoing.

Musk, 53, is the CEO of EV maker Tesla, founder of aerospace firm SpaceX, and world’s richest man with a net worth of US$394.2 billion. He has fathered 13 children with four women over the past two decades, including Grimes. His most recent child was reportedly born five months ago to conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair.
