Chinese actress Zhao Liying’s ex-husband allegedly restricted from meeting her by new girlfriend

According to BackChina, Zhao has often been seen taking their son out, such as on a recent outing to a park where they played in the sand. With Zhao serving as the primary caregiver, many netizens have questioned the absence of her ex-husband, Feng Shaofeng.

Shortly after their divorce, Feng reportedly began a new relationship, focusing on his new partner and allegedly neglecting his son. Feng's new girlfriend is said to disapprove of his interactions with Zhao, often objecting when he spends time with his ex-wife and son, and frequently calling to disrupt their meetings.

In response, Zhao has limited her co-parenting time with Feng, primarily managing their son on her own and only joining Feng and other family members for special occasions.

Feng’s new romance reportedly started in early 2022, soon after his divorce from Zhao. The situation drew more attention when paparazzi captured Feng dining with a woman at the same restaurant where Zhao and her film crew were present. After the encounter, Zhao reportedly left the restaurant early, while Feng and his girlfriend left separately.

Feng, 46, is a graduate of the Shanghai Theater Academy and has been active in the entertainment industry since 1998. He gained widespread recognition with his role in the 2011 TV series "Palace."

Feng married Zhao, 37, in 2018, and the couple announced their divorce in 2021. Following their separation, their son initially lived with Feng’s parents, but he was later placed in Zhao's care.

Zhao made her acting debut in the 2007 drama "Century Endless Love". She has received praise for her role as Sen Li in the "Xianxia C-drama The Legend" of Shen Li and has appeared in several critically acclaimed dramas including "The Story of Minglan", "Rookie Agent Rogue", "Wild Bloom".
