Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen drew widespread attention at the 33rd SEA Games not only for his strong showing on the polo field, but also for his warm interactions with his wife off it.

A tender moment between the prince and his wife, Princess Anisha Rosnah, at the VS Sports Club & Siam Polo Park quickly went viral. Photos show the princess embracing her husband as they celebrated the victory together.

Nearly two years into their marriage, the couple continues to be admired for their steady relationship and frequent public displays of affection during official travels and royal engagements.

Mateen, the fourth son and tenth child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, was widely known before marriage as "Asia’s most eligible bachelor," celebrated for his looks, education, and athletic talent.

His participation in regional and international competitions routinely draws public interest, and after Brunei’s latest triumph, fans expressed hopes that he would help lead the national polo team to a championship title.
