Billionaire Bill Gates's daughter Jennifer announces second pregnancy

According to the Daily Mail, the 28-year-old shared a photo on Instagram on Thursday, where she appears in a flowing blue maxi dress, holding her first daughter Leila by the hand and displaying her baby bump. The caption of the post reads: "Leila, being promoted to big sister."

Harper’s Bazaar Arabia noted that Jennifer has yet to disclose how far along she is in her pregnancy.

Her husband, Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar, also shared in the celebration, posting an Instagram photo of himself in equestrian gear alongside Jennifer. His caption stated: "Baby #2 entering the chat."

Melinda Gates, Jennifer’s mother and Bill Gates’s ex-wife, expressed her delight under her daughter’s post, commenting: "I am so excited for Jennifer, Nayel, and Leila."

The pregnancy adds to an eventful year for Jennifer, who also graduated from medical school earlier this year. Her graduation ceremony was attended by both her parents, marking a rare joint appearance since their divorce in May 2021.

Additionally, as noted by People magazine, the billionaire heiress revealed in March that she secured her residency in the Pediatrics Research pathway through the National Resident Matching Program, which assigns initial positions to new doctors in the U.S.

Jennifer and Nassar, 33, got married in October 2021 and welcomed their first child Leila in March 2023.

Forbes estimates that as of June 28, her father Bill Gates has a net worth of US$134.1 billion, ranking him as the ninth wealthiest person in the world.
