18-year-younger wife of Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband receives cash, homes, and Rolls-Royce as wedding dowry

Mandy Ma, the new wife of Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, received an extravagant dowry that included two homes, a Rolls-Royce, and 1 million yuan (US$138,700) in cash.

According to Znews, Ma’s mother-in-law, Chinese entrepreneur Zhang Lan, gifted the cash sum, while Ma’s own parents contributed the luxury car and properties.

The couple celebrated their wedding on May 17 at the historic Prince Jun’s Mansion Hotel in Beijing, a 400-year-old courtyard-style residence known for its classical Chinese architecture. The event was described as an intimate affair, with only family members and close friends in attendance.

Wang, 44, and Ma registered their marriage in May 2024. He was previously married to Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu from 2011 until their divorce in 2021. Hsu later remarried her ex-boyfriend, South Korean musician DJ Koo, in Feb. 2022.

Hsu died in February this year at age 49 in Japan due to pneumonia-related complications. She and Wang shared two children, aged 11 and nine. Reports suggest that Ma has developed a close relationship with the children and is actively involved in their lives.
