Blindness no barrier for writer

[Part 4/4]

When I was a freshman and second year student at university, I could not do any writing or poems as I used to.

Teachers gave me samples and formulas in journalism and that was why my creativity did not work anymore.

My classmates got their writing published almost every month. Some even got their stories published every week, which got on my nerves for a long time.

I then decided to go back to being the person who had never learned anything about journalism. I forgot all the formulas, and let the words and emotions flow out.

Sometimes I just write down anything that comes across my mind, without carefully choosing the words, the structure or grammar.

Now I really enjoy working as a journalist, though it is not my major source of income. And I completely forget about my visual impairment when focusing on my work.

I am a normal person, just like everyone else.
