In the footage, San Jose leads the choreography while Carlos enhances the performance with his animated expressions. The clip garnered numerous comments from fans expressing their enjoyment and admiration for the couple’s dynamic and cheerful interaction.
The pair’s relationship started when San Jose messaged Carlos on X, formerly known as Twitter, in April 2020. However, their relationship has faced challenges, particularly from Carlos’ mother Angelica Poquiz Yulo, who has accused San Jose of exploiting her son. Despite these claims, Carlos has defended San Jose in a TikTok video.
Carlos, 24, is celebrated as the most decorated Filipino gymnast in history, according to Forbes. He made history at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris by becoming the first Filipino athlete to win two gold medals at a single Olympics, in the floor exercise and vault events.
San Jose, born in the Philippines and raised in Australia, is 22 years old and currently works as a model and online influencer.
