Vogue Australia recently listed Lam Gia Khang as one of the eight emerging international talents to watch out for in the field of fashion.

According to an article published last week, Vogue Australia put together the top eight designers based on the nomination from famous fashionista and experts around the world.

Khang, owner of Gia Studios, was selected as the best in fresh talent from Vietnam.

Lisa Ruffle, buying manager at New York-based online luxury fashion retailer Moda Operandi, stated she came across Khang's designs on Instagram and fell in love with his "refined approach to reinventing the everyday wardrobe."

"Khang embodies the simplicity and elegance of Vietnamese culture in a way that feels fresh and innately feminine, drawing on traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship to deliver precise tailoring and distinctive designs," she wrote.

The 30-year-old was also included in Forbes Vietnam's "30 Under 30" list in 2015 and received the Upcoming Fashion Designer Of The Year prize at Elle Style Awards from Elle Vietnam the same year.

The seven other international designers that made their way into Vogue Australia list are Kika Vargas from Colombia, Juliette Harkness and Emma Nelson from Australia, Svitlana Bevza from Ukraine, sister duo Nina and Gvantsa Macharashvili from Georgia, Sindiso Khumalo from South Africa, Thakoon Panichgul from the U.S., and Dami Kwon and Jessica Jung from South Korea.
