Retailers are lowering the price of iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max with the desert titanium color, which were out of stock almost immediately when they were launched two months ago.

The Pro version with this color is being sold at VND28.5 million (US$1,124), almost 2% lower than the natural titanium color.

When the desert titanium version was launched in the end of September, shops sold it up to VND5 million higher than listed price due to high demand.

Retail chain ShopDunk has seen a rise in inventory for the desert titanium version in recent weeks, which explains why shops have to lower their prices to boost sales.

Another retail chain, CellphoneS, said that natural titanium is now favored by customers and account for 30% of sales.

Most retailers have reported a higher supply of Apple’s iPhone 16 lineup this year compared to iPhone 15 last year.

Some retail chains have reported a 20-35% surge in iPhone sales in November compared to the same month last year.

iPhone 16 Pro Max is now sold up to VND47 million in Vietnam.

The four models of the iPhone 16 lineup are expected to be the best-selling smartphones in the end-of-year shopping season.
