Julia is a Eurasian woman traumatized by her mother’s death. As Julia and her doting dad move to live in New York, she studies acting, nursing a dream to become a star actress like her mother, but runs into culture clashes and language barriers. Her problems are compounded by loneliness and insecurity after her dad gets married to another woman.
The film had premiered at the Asian World Film Festival in Los Angeles in October 2017.
