Two daughters and a son of England captain striker Harry Kane were taken to hospital after a car crash in Germany.

Kane’s three children Louis, 3, Vivienne, 5 and Ivy, 7, were travelling in a Mercedes van, driven by a 24-year-old German woman when it was hit by a Renault in Munich earlier this week, The Sun reported.

The children were taken to a nearby hospital for a check-up and did not have any serious injuries. Kane’s wife Kate and his seven-month-old son Henry are reported to not have been in the van.

Bild reported that the Renault, driven by a 20-year-old woman, skid on the road before slamming in a Land Rover that was driven by a 62-year-old woman.

There was a 3-year-old child and two adults in the Renault.

All eight people in the vehicles suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

A police statement said the damage from the accident amounted to tens of thousands of dollars. Munich police are investigating.

On the same day of the accident, Kane and his Bayern Munich teammates flew to England for the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Arsenal a day later. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Kane's family moved to Germany last August after the English striker signed for Bayern Munich. He left Tottenham Hotspur after a long spell there and became one of the best strikers in the world, but failed to win a title.

The 31-year-old star with his wife and four children are living in a £30 million ($37.5 million) mansion in a neighborhood that is considered Beverly Hills of Bavaria.
