Sources said the artist completed her purchase of the property recently without any loans after putting down a 10% deposit in 2021, according to news site Allkpop. She has completed the procedure of registering her new address to the local municipality.

The property is said to cover a span of 245 square meters, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms inside.

According to the South China Morning Post, dubbed the "Beverly Hills of Seoul," the UN Village residence complex has long been renowned for its high quality and exclusivity, for which countless South Korean politicians, business magnates, and celebrities have chosen to reside in. These names include the former chairman of Samsung Group Lee Kun-hee, boy group BTS’ member Suga, and boy group Big Bang’s members G-Dragon and Taeyang.

Born Kim Jennie in Seoul, the 27-year-old singer spent five years studying in New Zealand before moving back to her home country and making her debut with Blackpink in 2016.

She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2018 with her single "Solo." Her latest music release "You & Me" topped various charts worldwide, including the UK Singles Downloads Chart, making it the first song by a Korean female soloist garnering the achievement.

Along with music, Jennie has also established her name in the fashion industry as she has been serving as the face of several brands including fashion houses Chanel and Calvin Klein.

Sources estimated her net worth to range around US$10 million excluding inheritance, per the South China Morning Post. Her mother is reportedly a shareholder of CJ E&M, one of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea.

Jennie’s exclusive contract with YG Entertainment, Blackpink’s management agency, is rumored to reach an end earlier this year. However, neither her nor the agency have publicly commented on her future career directions.
