The video, widely shared across TikTok and Facebook, reveals a group of 14 tourists guided by their tour guide, posing for photos right in the middle of National Highway 24 near the entry gate to the scenic town of Mang Den. This action disrupted traffic significantly, forcing approximately seven cars and motorbikes to halt or dangerously navigate around the tourists.
Witnesses reported the group only dispersed after a large tour bus arrived at the scene.

Online communities condemned the tourists' actions as blatant violations of traffic regulations and disruption of public order. Social media users also highlighted this as part of a worrying trend, referencing similar incidents where tourists caused disruptions in popular scenic areas of Gia Lai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Binh Dinh.
Vietnamese authorities said obstructing traffic by behaviors such as standing, sitting, or lying on roads is illegal, with offenders subject to fines of up to VND200,000 ($7.75).
