South Korea's IT development has surged across multiple domains, including software development, AI, robotics, and data science.

The potential of technology in South Korea is immense, fortified by a commitment to research and development and its strategic geographical advantage. The country's technological infrastructure, government initiatives, and innovative ecosystem have contributed to its emergence as a global tech powerhouse.

However, in recent years, South Korea has been facing a significant shortage of IT experts. This challenge has become more pronounced as technology plays an increasingly crucial role in today's world.

The rapid growth of the e-commerce, fintech, and healthcare industries has exacerbated the demand for skilled IT workers.

A recent survey by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Korea indicated that over 75% of surveyed companies encountered difficulties in hiring and retaining local software engineers.

The biggest issues those companies encountered were lack of IT talent and the pay disparity between SMEs and large businesses.

Addressing this shortage, the admission and use of IT outsourcing services and software development as a service from other countries has gained traction among the Korean government, corporations, and SMEs.

Vietnam is one of the countries standing as a prime solution to meet the escalating demand for an IT workforce.
