"This partnership represents Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH)'s first ever signing with a third party administrator (TPA) service provider in Southeast Asia to be empaneled into Insmart's provider network," Teck Eng Cheam, CEO of Insmart, said.
Cheam cited a report indicating approximately 40,000 Vietnamese travel overseas annually seeking medical treatment with the majority heading to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
"Not many Vietnamese are fully aware of Taiwan's high quality medical care, cost competitiveness, and pool of local Vietnamese that could be trained as medical translators or facilitators," he added.
