Imexpharm named top 1 'Best Place to Work' in healthcare sector in Vietnam in 2024

Imexpharm Pharmaceutical JSC. has been recognized as the Top 1 Best Place to Work in the pharmaceutical, medical equipment, and healthcare sector for medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam, marking its second consecutive year of receiving this honor.

The company was ranked first in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Equipment/Healthcare sector for medium-sized enterprises and placed 25th in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam overall for medium-sized companies, advancing 29 spots from the previous year.

According to the Anphabe survey conducted between May and August, with input from 1,612 respondents within the pharmaceutical industry, Imexpharm earned a high Employer Brand Attractiveness Index score of 12.6%, surpassing the industry average of 109%.

The company also achieved a brand awareness rate of 85.2%, above the sector's average of 81.5%. Notably, 8.3% of job candidates expressed interest in applying to Imexpharm, compared to the industry average of 5.5%.

Imexpharm's focus on its employees as its most valuable asset drives its commitment to creating a transparent, supportive, and equitable work environment. The company offers extensive opportunities for professional development and personal growth, with 14 onboarding training sessions, 324 internal courses, and 75 training sessions in domestic and international locations conducted from January to November 2024.

Imexpharm also fosters a collaborative and dynamic work culture through sports events, team-building activities, and leadership workshops that emphasize work-life balance. Employee recognition programs, such as monthly awards for outstanding performers, further encourage continued growth and engagement.

Looking ahead to 2025, Imexpharm plans to focus on attracting and retaining top talent by enhancing competitive salary, bonus, and benefits packages, and introducing long-term incentive programs for key personnel. The company also aims to accelerate its digital transformation to streamline human resource management and build a more robust candidate database.

In the first nine months of 2024, Imexpharm reported a revenue of VND1,553 billion (US$60.48 million), up 12% year-on-year, with a pre-tax profit of VND252 billion (US$9.94 million) and EBITDA of VND334 billion (US$13.18 million).

Imexpharm has earned several prestigious accolades, including the Ngoi Sao Thuoc Viet (Vietnam's Leading Drug Star) from the Ministry of Health, and rankings in Forbes Vietnam's Top 50 Best-Listed Companies and Nhip Cau Dau Tu's Top 50 Sustainable Development Enterprises.

The Best Places to Work in Vietnam ranking is conducted annually by Anphabe, supported by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and verified by Intage Vietnam. The survey gathers feedback from more than 65,000 employees, CEOs, and HR Directors across 700 companies in 18 sectors.
