Trump Organization wants to build hotel, golf course in northern Vietnam

The Trump Organization, owned by former U.S. President Donald Trump, wants to develop a hotel, golf and entertainment complex in northern Vietnam.

Representatives of the company expressed their interest to Hung Yen Province authorities at a recent meeting.

Province chairman Tran Quoc Van said he welcomed the company in studying for potential investments.

The province is focusing on developing infrastructure, especially for transport, industry and housing.

Nguyen Huu Nghia, its Party secretary, said local authorities would provide favorable conditions within legal framework to support Trump Organization as it explores investment options.

The meeting was held at the suggestion of Hung Yen Group, a property company established in 2021 and in which industrial property developer Kinh Bac City is a shareholder.

The Trump Organization operates resorts and golf courses in the U.S and several other countries including the UAE, Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, and India.
