The narrowbody Airbus A321NX, manufactured at Airbus’s factory in Hamburg, Germany, arrived at the Phu Quoc International Airport on Sunday.
It is powered by the new LEAP-1A engine, which uses 20% less fuel and reduces carbon emissions by 50% and noise by 75% compared to previous generations, according to Airbus.
The airline, owned by tourism giant Sun Group, plans to start ticket sales in October.
