Jewelry firm PNJ reports nearly $45 mln profit for 3rd straight year

Phu Nhuan Jewelry’s after-tax profits declined by nearly 4 percent to VND1.03 trillion (US$44.7 million) in 2021, but remained above the trillion-dong mark for a third year.

It reported revenues of more than VND19.5 trillion, up 12 percent, with 59 percent coming from jewelry retail and 25.6 percent from gold bullion sales.

The company currently has 341 stores.

It now has undistributed profits of over VND1.95 trillion and total assets of more than VND10.5 trillion.
