A screenshot of the announcement, reportedly from Mediastorm’s CEO, has gone viral on Chinese social media, amassing nearly 14 million views within a day, according to Singaporean news outlet 8days.

"As usual, everyone will be given an iPhone16 Pro," the message read. "It doesn’t matter if you’re an intern or a new hire, as long as you’re with the company at this time, you’ll receive one. The company will also be covering any related taxes, don’t worry."

This generous gesture follows the global launch of Apple’s iPhone 16 series on Sept. 10, with the Pro model starting at US$999 in the U.S. market. Considering the company’s workforce, this perk is expected to cost at least US$99,900.

This isn’t the first time Mediastorm has rewarded its employees with such a lavish gift. According to China Press, the company also handed out the latest iPhone models in previous years, gifting the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022 and the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023.
