The iPhone 16 will be delivered in Vietnam from Sep. 27 with prices ranging up to VND46.99 million (US$1,900) for the Pro Max version.

The most expensive iPhone comes with a maximum of one terabyte of storage though customers can opt for 512GB or 256GB at lower prices.

On Monday Apple unveiled its latest lineup comprising four models powered by the new A18 chips that are designed for AI-linked tasks.

The phones also come with a customizable action button, allowing users to record voice memo, identify songs and translate phrases among other tasks.

Pre-orders in Vietnam are expected to open on Sep. 20.

In previous lineups, the Pro Max version was often the most sought-after model in Vietnam, and sellers expect the same trend this year.

Doan Viet, CEO of Apple products reseller ShopDunk, said customer data shows high interest in the Pro Max version with new colors such as desert titanium.

This year Apple will allow pre-orders on e-commerce platforms, which might offer discounts to attract customers.

This might increase demand by 15% from last year, Viet added.

Hoang Tam, a media representative of Hoang Ha Mobile, said the new AI and camera control button features would be the key attractions for buyers.
