Citing HK01, Znews reported that Lee recently shared a video of his living space, which showed a cramped room with numerous shelves and a guitar hanging on the wall.

According to 163, the actor once owned an eight-story house but transferred ownership to his ex-wife years ago as part of their divorce settlement. This decision was made so he could be with his current girlfriend, Chris Wong. On one occasion, when asked about his financial situation, Lee said: "People think I’m wealthy, but in reality, I am poor, with not a penny to my name."

Lee is currently preparing for a live show at the Hong Kong Cultural Center on Feb. 25, reported Sohu, as cited by Znews. He sees this as a fresh start and hopes it will bring him joy and positivity, especially during this period when Wong is serving a prison sentence for overstaying her Hong Kong visa.

Although Wong cannot attend the show, Lee says her presence in his life is his greatest motivation. He also shared that she has been very supportive, encouraging him to give his best effort and make the event a success.

Originally from mainland China, Wong, 38, was arrested in Feb. 2024 for overstaying her tourist visa in Hong Kong. Her initial trial took place on May 28, 2024, during which she was accused of using counterfeit U.S. aviation college graduation certificates to fraudulently apply under Hong Kong’s Mainland Talents and Professionals Scheme.

In June 2024, Wong was sentenced to 25 months in prison for five offenses, including using forged documents, providing false information to enter Hong Kong, and overstaying her visa. She pleaded guilty and accepted her sentence.

Despite Wong’s imprisonment, Lee has pledged to marry her after her release. The couple, who met when Lee was 66, originally planned to wed by the end of 2023 but postponed the wedding following the death of Wong’s father.

75-year-old Lee’s acting career includes notable roles in "The Condor Heroes," "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer," "Journey to the West," and "Forensic Heroes." He has three children from a marriage in the 1970s, all of whom are older than Wong.
