The short film "Tai Sao Nguoi Sai Luon La Con" (Why Am I Always Wrong) by Linh Barbie caught the attention of TikTok users with its dramatic and emotional story.

Released in early October, the film, shot in a vertical frame, has garnered 1.3 million views. It focuses on the life of a girl who was discriminated against by her mother.

Although she also has a younger brother, she is always the one to blame whenever an incident occurs. The short film reaches a climax with its surprising ending finally awakening the mother.

Through this five-minute film, Linh wants to tell parents that all children need is attention and care.

Since its release, the short film has been complimented by TikTok users and received many positive comments for its relatability.

"It was so emotional I want to cry," Tra Giang commented.

"I can see myself in this film," Nguyen Nhung wrote.

"Many can relate to this meaningful short film. I hope all parents can watch this," said Ulyana.

TikTok emerged as a video-sharing social network aimed at young users and has drawn away visitors from other platforms.

According to the Digital 2022 report by We Are Social, Vietnam has some 39.9 million TikTok users aged over 18, or 55% of the country’ Internet users.
