Vietnam are topping group G with 17 points after six unbeaten games, while UAE are right behind with 15 points.

A draw or win will see Vietnam entering the final round of World Cup qualifiers. For UAE, they must win this game or face a great risk of elimination.

If Vietnam lose, they still have a chance of advancing due to the high points earned.

The two teams clashed seven times in the past, in which UAE won four, drew one and only lost two.

The match is played in Zabeel Stadium, Dubai.
