Vietnam end U19 AFF Championship dream with 0-3 loss to Malaysia

Considered the weaker team, Malaysia yet brought effective attacks to secure a big victory against Vietnam in the U19 AFF Championship semifinal Wednesday.

    Trinh Hoang Canh slipped and let Haykal Danish sprint down to face keeper Van Binh. Danish calmly dribbled past Binh and put the ball into the empty net and this goal ended Vietnam's hopes of making a comeback.

Vietnam are considered stronger than Malaysia. They entered the semifinals as the top team of group A while Malaysia placed second in group B, after Laos.

The U19 team of Vietnam have been undefeated in the last eight games.
